About the Job
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, including full-time, part-time, and contract workers, ensuring timely and accurate payroll disbursement
- Payroll Manager will ensure compliance with government contracting standards, including adherence to FAR, DCAA, and other applicable guidelines
- Maintain and update payroll systems (specifically ADP) to reflect changes in salaries, bonuses, deductions, and benefits
- Reconcile payroll reports and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports (e.g., W-2, 941, etc.)
- Serve as the subject matter expert for ADP payroll processing, resolving issues and providing guidance to the team
- As a Payroll Manager, you will work closely with HR to track time and attendance, PTO, and other employee benefits
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure proper general ledger entries related to payroll expenses and liabilities
- Stay up to date on federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as changes that impact the government contracting industry
- Oversee and process garnishments, levies, and other payroll deductions in compliance with legal requirements
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and payroll information
Requirements:
- ADP Workforce Now experience - need to be an expert in this system to help train the rest of the staff; They will be on version 4 or 5
- Experience working with a large organization (2,000 employees)
- Experience with garnishments and taxes
- Experience managing and coaching teams
- Gov Con experience
- Understanding of global mobility - right now all processing is domestic but as the win more projects and send people oversees someone who understands these processes and rules
- Working with payroll from multiple states (roughly 35-40)
- A general curious mind to formulate new ideas and process improvements
- Someone who is a team player
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
