Payroll Specialist at Creative Financial Staffing

CFS has partnered with a leading financial services company located in downtown Boston seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their Human Resources team.

About the Company seeking a Payroll Specialist:

• Founded over 125 years ago and continuing to grow steadily
• Over $20B in assets under supervision
• This person will replace an incumbent who started with the company 20+ years ago
  • The average employee tenure is 9 years
• The Payroll Specialist reports to the Chief People Officer and works closely with the Chief Financial Officer
• Hybrid work schedule

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist

• Processing payroll for 130+ employees using ADP Workforce Now including:
  • Calculating for exempt/non-exempt employees, including overtime for non-exempt employees
  • Processing quarterly dividends
  • Tracking 401k, PTO, and benefits changes
• Working with the CFO on payroll journal entries
• Using Bamboo to update employee information as necessary

Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist:

• Bachelor's Degree required or experience equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience
• ADP Workforce Now proficiency is highly preferred
