About the Role
The Payroll Specialist manages and executes payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation while maintaining compliance with regulations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Processes weekly/biweekly payroll in ADP Workforce.
- Validates and audit payroll reports.
- Prepares Union Fringe & Certified Payroll Reports.
- Supports payroll projects & union audits.
- Initiates continuous improvement in US payroll process and Canadian payroll operation including payroll processing, yearend activities etc.
Qualifications
What You'll Need for Success
- EducationAssociate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related disciplinewould be preferred, or a combination or the equivalent work experience.
- 7+years payroll experience in full-cycle US payroll of multiple jurisdictions and job sites.
- Multiple union experience required.
- Experience in ADP Workforce preferred.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
