Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

• Handle full-cycle payroll processing for employees across multiple states and locations, covering various payroll classifications such as commission-based, salaried, and hourly wages.
• Ability to accurately process payroll calculations using various payroll systems (QuickBooks, APD, Paychex). Coordinate with PEO provider.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries related to benefit deductions, retirement contributions, and other employee benefits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax withholdings, garnishments, and benefits.

Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:

• 3+ years of relevant payroll experience
• Experience working with multi-state payrolls required
• Experience in public accounting/client services a plus

Salary of $75k-$80k depending upon experience + Great benefits and bonus
