As a Payroll Specialist III, you will administer weekly payroll for 2,000+ employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies. You will also contribute to process improvements and efficiencies in collaboration with our HR and accounting teams. Experience with UKG (UltiPro), Cognos and Workday is a plus.
Position Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and off-cycle payroll with precision for 2,000+ employees across multiple states.
- Manage new hires, terminations, garnishments, and employee data changes.
- Effective administration and auditing of timekeeping.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax laws.
- Contribute to process improvements and automating workflows.
- Collaborate with teams across departments while maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
- Four to seven+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience (including CA).
- Proficiency in UKG (UltiPro), Advanced Excel and Workday.
- Strong knowledge of time & attendance, payroll best practices and laws.
- Experience with the implementation of new payroll systems and process changes
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for teamwork and integrity in a fast-paced environment.
