Payroll Specialist - Tandym

A financial services firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their growing team as a Payroll Specialist in their New York City Office.

Responsibilities:

• Support the full life cycle of activities related to the payroll process
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide timely resolution
• Prepare and file payroll-related reports as appropriate
• Maintain accurate records of employee information, including pay rates, deductions, and timesheets
• Work with other team members to ensure seamless integration of payroll with other systems
• Review and improve payroll processes to promote efficiency and accuracy
• Coordinate payroll-related tax registrations, filings, and reporting across all applicable states and localities
• Perform other duties

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in payroll or related field
• Experience with the administration of payroll operations with a background in HR and Payroll systems
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadline
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
