About the Job
- Bi-weekly Payroll Processing: Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring all payroll transactions are completed on time.
- Payroll Support: Serve as a valuable resource for the payroll department, offering support and assistance in various payroll-related tasks.
- Employee Inquiries: Address general payroll inquiries from employees, providing clear and helpful responses to their questions.
- Multi-State Expertise (Bonus): If applicable, demonstrate expertise in handling multi-state payroll requirements and compliance.
- Commission Processing (Bonus): If applicable, assist in the accurate calculation and processing of commission payments for eligible employees.
- High-Volume Handling: Manage high-volume payroll processing efficiently, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Employee Count: Handle payroll for a substantial workforce of approximately 2000 employees, with 1250-1300 employees per payroll cycle.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations and stay updated on changes in payroll laws.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and organized payroll records, including timesheets, deductions, and payroll reports.
- Reports and Analytics: Generate payroll reports and assist in analyzing payroll data as needed for financial and management reporting.
- Must be committed to and have the ability to adhere to Pinnacle mission statement and core values – and exhibit beyond excellence customer service skills consistently in the interaction with others.
- Basic HR and payroll knowledge.
- The ability to read, write, and speak to relay information.
- The ability to comprehend instructions and follow directions.
- Microsoft Office Skills - Outlook, Word, and Excel –(applicant will be tested).
- The ability to navigate multiple computer software databases – KanTime, UKG, and ConnectWise.
- The ability to grasp mathematical concepts.
- The ability to communicate with all levels of employee, customer, vendor, client or guest of Pinnacle Home Care.
- The ability to maintain sensitive information and a high level of confidentiality.
