Payroll Specialist at Accounting Now

SNI Companies is working with a large manufacturing and distribution company located in Central New Jersey. They are seeking a Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll, handing employee data, and running reports.

Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll for 1000+ employees (both exempt and non-exempt).
• Collecting and Entering timesheet and payroll data into Ceridian Dayforce
• Calculate and run reports on wages, overtime, bonuses, tax deductions, etc.
• Run Weekly/monthly reports as necessary
• Preparing and processing paychecks and cash deposits
• Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation & transactions
• Responding to payroll related inquiries and resolving concerns

Experience:

• Degree in Accounting, business, or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years' experience working in payroll or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices
• Experience working with Ceridian Dayforce is a must.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
