Overview of the role: Payroll Specialist
- Processing weekly payroll - process will be changing to bi-weekly/semi-monthly.
- Handling multi-state payroll
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage laws. Ensure compliance with all state and federal wage and hour laws.
- Prepare and submit all required reporting and taxes
- Accountability with answering daily emails and handling payroll situations and discrepancies for employees.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and managing data entry
Preferred Qualifications: Payroll Specialist
- ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus!
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
