About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Payroll Specialist with full-cycle payroll experience to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you'll manage payroll operations end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment processing. This position offers a pathway to a permanent role for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle payroll for [insert employee count] employees across multiple locations or departments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., tax codes, labor laws).
- Manage timekeeping systems, reconcile discrepancies, and process corrections.
- Handle deductions, garnishments, and benefits contributions.
- Process new hires, terminations, and employee status changes in payroll systems.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
- Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and filings (W-2s, 941s, etc.).
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing with full-cycle expertise.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, or Workday) and Excel proficiency.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and payroll compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $30 - $35 per hr.
