We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage our payroll functions and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for our employees. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service as a Payroll Specialist.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

• Process payroll for a diverse workforce in accordance with company policies and regulations
• Ensure accuracy in payroll calculations, including wages, deductions, and taxes
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions
• Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and audits as a Payroll Specialist
• Collaborate with HR to update employee records and maintain accurate data
• Stay current with payroll legislation and best practices

Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
• Customer service skills a must
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Must have intermediate Excel skills, i.e. pivot tables, v look ups, etc.
