Payroll Supervisor - Strategic Business Consulting Services

Position:  Payroll Supervisor

Location: Pryor, OK

Comp: up to $90,000/yr

SBCS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Supervisor to join our clients' team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and management, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees

- Manage a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance, training, and support as needed

- Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations

- Review and approve payroll reports and ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately

- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate and timely onboarding and offboarding of employees

- Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll regulations and make necessary updates to processes and systems

- Handle any payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees in a timely and professional manner

- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and other required reports

- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues

- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and management

- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and laws

- Experience with payroll software and systems, preferably ADP

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
