Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive client in Buckhead who is seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist
This is a CONTRACT position and in-office work is required
All candidates to be considered must live in the Atlanta, GA area.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Address and resolve payroll tax notices promptly
Work closely with state tax agencies
Support Payroll with all employment tax research, employee tax inquiries and required adjustments
Audit & reconcile payroll tax data
Prepare and file quarterly & annual taxes
File amended returns
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years of Payroll Tax experience is REQUIRED
Paycom or Rippling experience preferred
Strong Excel skills to include V-look ups and Pivot tables
Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Efficient organization skills with great attention to detail.

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
