Crisis Call Services Overview
24/7 Support: Provide round-the-clock assistance for individuals in crisis.
Key Responsibilities
Answer Calls: Respond to crisis calls promptly.
Risk Assessment: Assess suicide risk and immediate care needs using the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS).
Coordinate Care: Direct callers to the appropriate level of care.
Schedule Appointments: Arrange urgent and routine appointments.
Connect to Services: Link callers to community resources and services.
Track Details: Maintain logs of call details, including demographics and outcomes.
Crisis Coordination: Work with crisis response teams for effective care.
Qualifications
Education:High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred.
Experience:Minimum of two years in healthcare, mental health, substance use, or human services.
Experience in psychiatric hospitals or crisis response preferred.
Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Epic preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance.
Availability:Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
