PCA/ Caregiver - Eminence Home Care

Eminence Home Care is looking for dedicated and compassionate PCA/Caregivers to join our growing team. As a PCA/Caregiver, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients maintain their independence and quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to promote mental and social well-being.
• Help with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility needs.
• Document client progress and any changes in health status, communicating with the care team.
• Foster a safe and comfortable environment for clients by identifying and addressing needs proactively.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a PCA/Caregiver or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and families.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage time effectively.
• Understanding of personal care services and ability to follow care plans accurately.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving with a genuine desire to help others.
• Flexibility in scheduling and availability to meet the needs of clients.
