PCA/HHA Memory Loss Caregiver - Part time or Full time - Always Best Care Senior Services - Central Connecticut

Seeking experienced PCA/HHA Caregiver that has worked with clients with advanced dementia.    This shift is part time or full time hours. Candidate must be able to provide companionship, have a great sense of humor to keep our female client engaged.  Ability to use hoyer to transfer with a 2 person assist    PCA must be able to assist with all ADL's including bathing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care.   Our client may need assistance from time to time with eating as using utensils can be difficult at times.

Always Best Care is looking for an Experienced outgoing and friendly HHA/PCA caregiver in Glastonbury. . The caregiver must be available for shifts Thursday thru Sunday from 8 am to 8:00 pm If you fit this description and are experienced in the responsibilities below to bring a great quality of life to our client we'd love to speak to you! Come join our team of caregivers today!

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Assistance with ADL's (Bathing, Dressing, Personal Hygiene, Soft Diets)
• Assistance with Feeding

• Responsibilities vary depending on a client's individual needs

Job Requirements include:

• Ability to pass state and national background checks
• VALID driver license, registered & insured vehicle (hourly assignments)
• DEPENDABLE MUST BE ABLE to attend all assignments ON TIME daily during all weather conditions (rain, snow, sleet)
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with management via telephone, email, or in person
