PCA Live-in - Golden Years Homemakers & Companions, Inc.

Golden Years Homemakers & Companions, a homemaking and companion agency in Plainville, CT is seeking for a Per Diem Licensed Clinicians (LPC, LPC-A, LCSW, LMFT) who would like to join our Mental Health Team. The position can be part-time or full-time at candidate's discretion. Sessions can be conducted in the client’s home or in the office. The position is an independent contractor position that will be compensated at a per visit rate.

Responsibilities

•         Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical direct to consumer mental health therapy/counseling to clients
•         Complete clinical documentation
•         Maintaining and tracking schedule
•         Maintain required client contact
•         Maintain good standing with the appropriate professional board entities
•         Complete and maintain all required continuing education requirements for specific licensure and specializations
•         Stay current with updated research and best practices
•         Be aware of community referral sources and refer when necessary
•         Maintain up to date case files within electronic health record (EHR) system; and,
•         Maintain contact with and consulting with third parties and collateral contacts when appropriate

Qualifications

•          At time of application, candidates are required to hold a valid license to practice in the mental health field in the State of Connecticut
•          Candidates will have experience and an interest in working with children, adolescents and/or adults and families
•          Must have a valid driver’s license
•          Proficient in both English and Spanish preferred but not required
