Our growing agency is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide to work with a client in the Valrico, FL area. Work closely with our clinical staff to support therapeutic, medical and behavioral plans, provide assistance and strategies to the individuals we serve to live as independently as possible.
The Home Health Aide must be patient, experienced, kind, and have a caring heart for our clients. Professionalism and empathy are a must when working in home health. The Home Health Aide should be comfortable with working independently and consulting with the clinical management team to ensure proper care and safety for our clients.
We are seeking an experienced caregiver for an immediate need for a client who requires total hands-on care. The hours are Mon-Fri from 8:30am-4:30pm. You must have experience with pediatrics with special needs. Professional references must be verifiable.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living skills including feeding, bathing, and incontinence care.
- Provide meaningful play to encourage life skills
- Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from prescribed exercise, nutrition, and supporting care
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with developmentally disabled pediatrics
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English (bilingual a plus)
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current CPR certificate
- Current First Aid training
- Valid driver’s license
- High school education or higher (diploma/GED/transcript or equivalent required)

We are only accepting professionals for this role. The HH aide must be dependeable and reliable. Call outs are not accepted, unless in the case of documented emergencies or health appointments. All planned time off must be communicated at least two weeks prior. Missed hours may be given the opportunity to make up on another day if needed. We work with clients who depend on our care to remain safe in their homes.
Pay: $16/hr
