Job Summary:
The Pediatric CNA (PCT) Supervisor at Nursing Evolutions plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Pediatric CNA Department, ensuring personnel management, supply management, and departmental performance. This position involves direct supervision of Pediatric CNA's at our pediatric critical care facility, with 24/7 oversight and reporting to the PCT Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Personnel Management:
- Organize team roles and conduct regular evaluations of employee performance.
- Perform employee reviews, assessments, and counseling as needed.
- Review and approve timecards, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Oversee scheduling, collaborating with Pediatric CNA Manager to ensure appropriate staffing levels and Leader on-call management.
- Assist in Pediatric CNA hiring process in collaboration with the Pediatric CNA Manager, Clinical Director and Recruiter.
Training and Development:
- Supervise the Pediatric CNA training program, maintaining records, monitoring progress, and reporting on training status to Pediatric CNA and Clinical Director.
- Support and execute ongoing professional development programs for the Pediatric CNA team.
Department Performance:
- Manage supply levels for non-prescription consumable supplies for patients and the facility.
- Oversee maintenance of facility cleanliness and organization, coordinating with the Facilities Manager.
- Support process improvement initiatives, addressing barriers, setting expectations, and implementing solutions.
- Oversee Pediatric CNA task completion and audits.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to maintain a patient environment in outstanding condition.
Direct Patient Care:
- Provide direct care to patients as needed. The Pediatric CNA Supervisor must become fully trained and qualified as a Pediatric CNA to cover shifts and provide hands-on care.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Attend administrative meetings and training sessions regularly.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Leadership Team to support departmental goals and Nursing Evolutions' mission.
- Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Nursing Assistant Registered or Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- At least two years of pediatric patient care experience.
- At least two years of personnel management experience.
Physical Requirements:
The role requires the ability to move in different positions, adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds, ascend/descend stairs, and frequently position oneself to interact with patients on the floor. Travel to the Pediatric Critical Care House (PCCH) is required for work.
