Job Title: Pediatric Dentist Associate
Location: Converse, TX 78109
Employment Type: Full-time (4-3 days per week, negotiable) no long hours, no weekends, no on call.
Salary based on production for all procedures due under supervision of the Pediatric Dentist patients (including X-rays, Sealants, Coronal Polishing done by RDA's)

Reporting directly to our Lead Dentist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional clinical services and ensuring a positive patient experience in line with our mission and vision. Our team have no dramas and break lunch. Our vision is is to provide a great enviroment to work in the place we spend more time after home.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Excellence:
- Provide and manage comprehensive dental care, including intra and extraoral examinations and treatments.
- Meet or exceed productivity standards while maintaining the highest level of patient care.
- Assess the need for and perform dental sedation procedures (Levels I and II) as required, applying compassionate behavior management techniques to ensure patient and staff safety.
2. Patient Care & Satisfaction:
- Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing patient needs with empathy and professionalism.
- Strive to achieve and maintain a personal patient satisfaction score of 90% or higher.
3. Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure the practice's mission and vision are communicated and practiced.
- Participate actively in peer review processes and contribute to chart audits and documentation.
4. Adherence to Standards:
- Follow established policies, procedures, and objectives related to quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Refer patients to specialists and relevant care providers as appropriate.
5. Medication Management:
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals and other treatment regimens according to assessed dental conditions.
- Secure and manage controlled substances used for dental sedation, ensuring proper documentation and control.
6. Community Engagement:
- Support the organization's mission through participation in health promotion, education, and prevention programs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited university.
- Specialization: Advanced education in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Licensure: Unrestricted license to practice Dentistry in the State of Texas.
- Certification: Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Sedation Permit Level 2 or higher.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changes to improve our practice.
