Mission or Goal of Unit Children’sHospital of Richmond of the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System hascommitted itself to transforming the GI Pediatrics Division into a modelacademic unit devoted to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and clinical,translational, and basic research. Chief Purpose of this position VCUMedical Center and Children’s Hospital have joined together, forming Children’sHospital of Richmond at VCU. Together,we are a full-service Children’s Hospital that offers a robust continuum ofpediatric services, research and education. Position Responsibilities Teaching: Teaching responsibilitiesin the area of pediatric GI/Psychology. Faculty member will provide guidance and mentorship to Residents andChief Residents in the area of GI/Psychology. Scholarship: Reasonable scholarly activities, such as program evaluation, research, publications, presentations at national meetings and participation in appropriate academic organizations, are preferred. Service: Serving on departmental or School of Medicine levelcommittees when appropriate, as well as professional through journal review,conference presentations, etc. Clinical: Will serve as a Psychologist in the Psychiatry’s Child and AdolescentPsychology Division and in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, andNutrition. Services may includeindividual assessment/evaluations, individual therapy, group and family therapy. Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Application Process:
