About the Job
CoxHealth is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist or BC/BE Pediatrician with experience in the hospital setting to join our existing pediatric hospitalist team in providing coverage for a 26-bed unit at Cox Medical Center South. This is a part-time position with a schedule of 8 twelve-hour shifts per month.
Our long-established Pediatric Hospitalist program serves over 30 counties throughout Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas.
Cox South is a 706-bed facility which includes a six-bed PICU and 33-bed Level III NICU. Our 26-bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit is currently staffed by a group of six board-certified pediatric hospitalists. Other pediatric specialists include endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, and more. The Cox Air Care program and the Children s Ambulance provide services for newborn emergency transports. Cox South has been affiliated with the Children s Miracle Network since 1986.
