About the Job
Tufts Pediatrics with Boston Childrens Hospital (BCH) is looking for Pediatric Hospitalists to join our robust academic community hospitalist program located in the greater Boston area. Positions are available in our network of urban community hospitals which are all located within 60 minutes of Boston. Our group is recognized as being a national leader in clinical pediatric hospital medicine, medical education, quality improvement, and patient equity.
Tufts Medicine with Boston Childrens is reimagining pediatric care to meet new and emerging community needs. In coming together, we will push the boundaries, expand and improve access and equity through the creation of a shared and sustainable model of comprehensive pediatric care throughout the communities in Eastern Massachusetts. Our physicians are the core of the collaboration and apart of the Boston Childrens Network Specialty (BCNSP) Foundation and we will maintain our mutual commitment to research and education and training of the next generation of clinicians.
This position will include a faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) and the ability to teach a variety of learners including medical students, residents and physician assistant students. With the partnership between TUSM and BCH, faculty have ample opportunities for career development and growth including in-service learning and professional licensure recertification, conferences, quality assurance projects and more. This is an opportunity to join an exceptional team of colleagues which may include coverage of a variety of clinical settings such as the pediatric inpatient unit, newborn nursery, consultative care in the emergency department, delivery attendance, and level 2A/2B SCN.
Who You Are:
- Board Eligible/Certified in Pediatrics
- PHM Eligible/Certification is welcome, but not required
- Passionate about teaching the next generation of clinicians and medical educators
- Interested in delivering care in community-based environments which allows for professional autonomy with a strong support network
- Committed to providing equitable access to the highest quality of healthcare for pediatric patients
- Interested in evidence based medicine, quality improvement, and academic growth
