Our client is a renowned hospital in Westchester County with numerous awards received.  They have an opportunity available for a Pediatric Nurse Manager to oversee a large department of RN’s and LPN’s.  You would be reporting to the Director of Nursing and have much autonomy.  You would be responsible for direct supervision of nursing staff, evaluating new hires, and working collaboratively to ensure all patients are given quality care.  The hours are Monday through Friday 8:30- 5 pm but you will be responsible for supervision off hours.  See job highlights below.

Title: Pediatric Nurse Manager

Salary: $130,000 to $150,000 + full comprehensive benefits package

Location: Yonkers NY

Responsibilities:

Making important decisions regarding onboarding and training

Leading team of nursing staff and developing relationships

Planning and organization nursing activities

Completing all administrative requirements and working collaboratively with Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer

Reviewing guidelines for clinical services and following protocols

Reviewing grievances and complaints

Involved in research development

Managing nursing staff budget

Coordinating care plan meetings

Reviewing EMR System and reports there of

Work closely with talent management team for onboarding process

Requirements:

At least 2 years of Pediatric RN experience

BLS

Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree

New York state nursing license

Preferred Pediatric Nurse Manager experience

At least 3 years in supervisory role

Team and goal oriented
