About the Job
NORTON CHILDRENS PHYSICAL MEDICINE & REHABILITATION, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine and a part of Norton Childrens Medical Group, is seeking a pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. The practice sees over 400 patients annually, offering specialty care to children with cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, spina bifida, spasticity and many other conditions. The rehabilitation team works closely with families to create unique treatment plans that address the needs of each child, including all aspects of a childs quality-of life function. These plans and goals are created using current technology, research and rehab techniques in addition to play and age-appropriate activities. Close collaboration with each family ensures that everyone knows what to expect from the treatment plan.
Services Provided:
- Comprehensive team approach to maximize skills for daily living and recreation
- Focus on school reintegration
- Diagnosis and treatment of pain resulting from injury, illness or disability condition
- Collaboration with Camp @ Frazier, an inpatient, intense rehabilitation program of UofL Health - Frazier Rehabilitation Institute for restoring independence
- Botox treatment for spasticity, refractory torticollis and drooling

Qualifications:
- Medical degree/diploma
- Residency/fellowship certification
- Kentucky medical license or license eligible
