POTS is a dynamic, fun-loving pediatric multidisciplinary team seeking an experienced pediatric physical therapist who wants to make a difference in children's lives and fulfill our mission of maximizing each child's potential. We have an experienced dedicated staff that provides cutting-edge OT, PT, feeding, speech, and aquatic therapy in our state-of-the-art sensory gyms. *Job Description*
We are looking for a per diem pediatric physical therapist who has strong treatment and evaluation skills who is able to effectively work with infants and children in a sensory gym. The best candidates are physical therapists with demonstrated leadership ability who are upbeat, organized, self-motivated, and problem solvers, who want to be part of a dedicated team of therapists. *Therapists responsibilities include:*
* Cutting-edge evaluation and treatment
* Prompt documentation in an EMR
* Providing all clients with a home exercise program
* Collaborating with parents and teachers to set functional goals
* Providing ongoing guidance, support, and education to parents and teachers
* Participating in team meetings and workshops
* Participating in program development, such as summer camp programs and after-school groups
* Educating parents, colleagues, physicians, and referral sources about the value of physical therapy for children
*Required Skills:*
* Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
* 3+ years’ clinical experience beyond internships providing physical therapy to children with a wide range of challenges including children birth to three
* NJ Physical Therapy License
* NJ school certification preferred
* Desire to work long-term in a warm supportive environment
* Compassionate, caring, collaborative, willing to go the extra mile for your families
* Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
* Ability to meet the child where they are and build a warm therapeutic relationship with the child and family
* Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations using standardized evaluation tools and clinical observations
* Excellent communication skills
* Demonstrated commitment to continuing education
* Specialty certifications such as CNDT, DMI, Medek or reflex integration a plus
*Hours must include "after school hours" and/or weekends*
Job Types: Per Diem

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
