Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist - Woodfords Family Services

Woodfords Family Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at our Early Childhood Services (ECS) and Special Purpose Private School (SPPS) located in Waterville, ME!

Position Summary

The ECS & SPPS Program is equipped to provide educational and behavioral support services to learners (PreK-5th grade) diagnosed with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a therapeutic and treatment-based environment.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide direct (on-site) speech therapy to a case load of students and assist the program in completing the following:

• Conduct speech evaluations as necessary for initial placements and ongoing progress assessments.
• Develop Plans of Care for each individual student, and provide written quarterly reports and discharge summaries. Attend I.E.P., I.F.S.P., and family meetings as scheduled or required.
• Provide training, direction, and guidance on speech therapy goals to the Teaching Staff.
• Supervise any speech assistants in accordance with requirements outlined by the Maine Board of Examiners on Speech-Language Pathology.
• Work in conjunction with Behavior Analysts, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Teaching Staff to provide cohesive programming to the students.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a calendar year, center-based position with full-time OR part-time opportunities! The weekly schedule is Monday-Friday.

Salary up to $85,000 per year - commensurate with experience, education, and position status.

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus for full-time SLPs!Paid a 6 months of employment.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders
• Must possess good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
