Pediatrician

We are seeking an Outpatient Pediatrician for a full-time role with our team in Cortland, New York!

Compensation Package:

• Full Time 5 Days a Week - $240,000 to $250,000
• Sign or Relocation Bonus
• 4 Weeks of Paid Time Off - Accrues Day 1 Available for Use After 90 Days

Requirements:

• New York Clear and Active Medical License
• Must be proficient with EMRs - We use Athena1 (Training Offered)
• 2+ Years of Experience Preferred in the Pediatrics setting
• New Graduates Accepted

Responsibilities:

• Full Time or Part Time Opportunities
• For Full Time - Cortland Location 3 Days a Week and 1 of our Rural Sites 1 Day a Week
• Student Loan Repayment Pro-rated to Part-Time Schedule
• 100% Outpatient Opportunity
• Seeing 20 Patients Per Day
• Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients. Review patient records.
• Well-Baby Check Ups
• Interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures needed.
• Perform a complete physical exam and record findings. Establish diagnosis.
• Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
• Synthesize data to determine a diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and oral medications. Suture wounds. Prepare written prescription orders for drugs and controlled substances.
• Interview and advise patients regarding health and illness prevention. Recommend community resources to meet patient and family needs.
• Instruct patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provide patient education.
