Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Director and Manager of Radiology, this position is responsible for patient transportation to and from all departments throughout the hospital. This position maintains the safety and cleanliness of all patient transport equipment and assists with other related duties.

Required Qualifications:

• CPR certification 
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pervious hospital experience
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Physical Requiremets:

• Carrying: Transports objects by holding them in hands or arms
• Handling: Seizes, holds or works with hands
• Hearing" Perceives nature of sounds by ears
• Lifting: Raises or lowers objects from on level to another; turns, postiions, or lifts patients
• Talking: Expresses ideas by means of spoken word
• Walking: Moves about on foot
• Visual: Accommodation for acuity and depth perception
