Description:
§ Responsible for developing Estimates, strategies for testing wide-ranging or complex initiatives.
§ Coordinates early lifecycle planning of Performance Engineering Tasks.
§ Capacity Modeling/Forecasting.
§ Estimate the projects based on NFRs from Performance Engineering perspective.
§ Provide tactical support and execute performance analysis.
§ Provide expertise in performance engineering process definition and performance improvement.
§ Will be expected to provide technical expertise across multiple distributed technologies not limited to Java incl. DB such as Oracle, SQL Server, middleware, large scale distributed system integration, and multiple platform technologies including Cloud and Mobile.
§ Work with disaster recovery and operations team on right-sizing of infrastructure and capacity projections
§ Design and run extensive overhead, scalability, stability, and stress tests using industry standard tools and custom developed software/utilities
§ Develop robust benchmark workloads based on production traffic patterns and anticipated feature usage with varying load levels and working sets
§ Mentors junior team members.
