Position Purpose:
The Performance and Talent Management Program Manager works to enhance the level of performance of the Sinai Chicago workforce (caregivers, physicians, and leaders) through the day-to-day design and implementation of Performance and Talent Management systems, resources, and tools that support organizational goals, talent management strategies. Identifies opportunities for process improvement efforts and implements key changes regarding Human Resources (HR) systems including performance management, talent reviews, performance and succession reporting, and caregiver assessments.
Key Job Activities:
• Works with Executive Director Talent Management to coordinate, design, develop, facilitate, and rollout routine impactful processes to assess and drive performance through feedback and assessment.
• Serves as system coordinator and liaison for performance management systems, talent/success tools/resources and education assistance programs.
• Provides day to day consultation and guidance on all phases of talent management such as succession management, assessment, talent pipelines, selection processes and so on
• Working with various Human Resources peers, assists in developing and assessing the effectiveness and compliance around selection and onboarding tools for both leaders and caregivers.
• Analyzes and reports on key Talent Management programs to maximize organizational effectiveness through performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, internal movement, selection and development assessments, management turnover, and Hi-Po retention.
• Works with leaders to rollout effective and standard tools and approach organizational goal processes, including cascading, alignment, development, and measurement.
• Assists organizational leaders and HR peers in tracking and follow-up to various levels of follow-up for assessed performance, including low-performer, high performer-high potential, key groups, and H-S-L follow-through.
• Delivers Talent Management data to operational groups to enable goal tracking and achievement, based on their needs.
• Researches, advises, and present best practices solutions and standards to help move forward the organizational performance baseline, standard, and targets.

• Develops communication and marketing methods in educating employees on education programs and
resources, specifically education assistance programs and career ladder opportunities.
• Assists the Talent Management team and HR teams in change-based projects and task as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
• Master’s degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organization Psychology, or related field, from an accredited college or university required. PhD. in Organizational/Industry Psychology, Psychology, Business or Human Resources Administration preferred.
•Three years of experience in Human Resources or other work experience required
Knowledge and Skills:
• Analytical Thinking – ability analyze large data sets & glean meaningful insights for the organization.
• Communication skills – verbal and written, in presentation design for executives, and to effectively explain details of programs to HR, Leaders and staff.
• Organizational understanding – a high level of familiarity with business strategies and techniques for improving efficiency, enhancing employee performance.
• Persuasion – ability to use data and present it in such a way to influence organizational leaders toward recommendations that will enhance organizational performance.
• Research skills – ability to conduct root cause analysis to determine solutions to organizational or Talent Management program problems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software– Must be able to develop PowerPoint presentations and present data using Excel.
• Customer service skills – ability to deliver on timely requests from HR partners or operations leaders that add value to the business.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience Preferred in EPIC and MEDITECH software systems.
