About the Job
- Develop and expand performance testing scripts using NeoLoad
- Interface with the existing team to understand current performance testing coverage (40%-100%)
- Conduct end-to-end performance tests for various areas, including Golang and JavaScript applications
- Analyze performance test results and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the development and DevOps teams to ensure optimal performance of the platform
- Understand user needs and application requirements to create effective performance tests
- Lead Performance Engineer: Manage a team of four, analyze performance test runs, and provide guidance
- Senior Performance Engineers (3): Assist in writing and generating performance test scripts and ensure comprehensive performance testing coverage
Requirements:
- Expertise in performance testing with NeoLoad
- Strong understanding of microservice architectures and performance testing methodologies
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Node.js, Java, and Golang
- Ability to analyze and interpret performance test results
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with production load applications and performance optimization techniques
- Experience in managing performance testing teams
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and deployment processes
- Previous experience in a similar role within a large-scale microservice environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
