Job Description:
- We are looking for a Performance Tester to join our Quality Assurance and Testing team in Owings Mills, MD.
- Self-motivated and self-directed while possessing experience in successfully working with cross functional teams
- Focused on delivering value to the business with relentless efforts to ensure and improve quality
- A proponent of automated testing approaches with continuous testing in a CI/CD environment Technical Experience:
- Experience with Client Performance Center and or StormRunner
- Experienced with Performance scripting tools such as; VuGen, JMeter and Gatling
- Experienced with scripting various protocols
- Web HTTP/HTTPs
- Web Services
- TruClient
- Mobile
- Flex
- Ajax
- Java
- ODBC
- Excellent scripting troubleshooting skills
- Experienced when scripting applications within a secured environment (SSO and SSL)
- Experienced with reverse proxy technologies (TAM)
- Familiarity with code versioning and management technologies like Git/GitHub and SVN
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
- Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
- Ability to successfully prioritize projects in order to meet deliverables
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability when working with internal teams of technical and business nature
- Possesses effective influencing and negotiating skills Preferred Experience:
- Preferred developer experience such as Java, JS, NodeJS and .Net
- Preferred experience with front end technologies such as HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with functional tools such as Selenium, NUnit and JUnit
- Experience with Databases (MSSQL and Oracle)
- Experience in financial services or similar industries
- Experience working in a dynamic team environment
- Background in providing guidance and experience to junior team members.
