Responsibilities
$15,000 Sign-on bonus
Ascension Health in Indianapolis Indiana is recruiting for a full time staff adult Perfusionist to join our team of 14 experienced perfusionists. This position is located in Carmel Indiana which is approximately 15 miles north of Indianapolis. Carmel and surrounding suburbs are known for their strong sense of community, excellent schools, cultural attractions and great quality of life.
The qualified candidate will participate in a variety of adult cardiac surgery procedures including; CABG, valve, minimally invasive mitral and aortic valve repair/replacement, heart transplant, VAD & ECMO. Our surgeons are exceptionally skilled and great to work with. This position is full-time with rotating on-call and clinical cases shared equally.

Bachelor's degree in addition to graduation from an accredited cardiopulmonary perfusion training program required. The position requires the candidate be board certified or certification eligible by the American Board of Cardiopulmonary Perfusion. New graduates are welcome to apply. New graduates must obtain Board certification within 18 months from hire date.

Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Perfusionist credentialed from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
