Connected Health Care, a Joint Commission-Certified staffing agency, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lab Supervisor for a permanent afternoon shift position at McLaren Health Care in Flint, MI. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic laboratory team while ensuring the highest standards of testing and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory operations, ensuring efficient workflow and accurate testing results
- Oversee staff performance, provide training and mentorship, and manage scheduling
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, ensuring safety protocols and quality control procedures are followed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic services
- Troubleshoot technical issues with lab equipment and manage inventory of lab supplies

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
- Current ASCP certification (or equivalent) required
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical laboratory experience, with previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and regulations
