Location: McLaren Health Care 
Contract: Permanent Position
Shift: Afternoon Shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

About the Opportunity:

Connected Health Care, a Joint Commission-Certified staffing agency, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lab Supervisor for a permanent afternoon shift position at McLaren Health Care in Flint, MI. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic laboratory team while ensuring the highest standards of testing and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory operations, ensuring efficient workflow and accurate testing results
• Oversee staff performance, provide training and mentorship, and manage scheduling
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, ensuring safety protocols and quality control procedures are followed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic services
• Troubleshoot technical issues with lab equipment and manage inventory of lab supplies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• Current ASCP certification (or equivalent) required
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical laboratory experience, with previous supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and regulations
