Overview
Our mission is helping advisors help more people. Providing timely and accurate wealth data is foundational for the interoperability of the Pershing Wove solutions. As the Senior Vice President, you be part of our wealth data product team that is responsible for bringing together a holistic data approach to unify the client experience. You will partner with stakeholders across various teams to ensure data consistency across the custody and multi custody data within the Wove platform.
Responsibilities
- No direct reports; leads a cross functional team to deliver data needs supporting internal partners, the Wove platform and client facing data products
- Collaborate with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to understand business problems and design solutions to address the need
- Lead discussions to dive into the necessary details and summarize based on the audience
- Partner with pod(s) to take solutions designed and break into tactical next steps and requirements for execution and delivery
- Communicate up, down, and across the organization and match the message to the audience
- Collaborate with teams to understand business problems, design solutions to address the business need
- Balance multiple deadlines and ensure adherence to architectural strategic vision and data policies and standards while being pragmatic about timeliness to deliver
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, Finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 7-10 years of total work experience in financial services preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and people skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure.
- Strong analytical and management skills, are familiar with Agile methodology and played an active role in scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and execution.
- Technical proficiency with Excel, JIRA, MS Word, MS PowerPoint is needed. Technical skills in any of the following are helpful: Python, SQL, Snowflake.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $221,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
