My Friends Pediatric Day Health Care is seeking a Personal Care Attendant/Driver to care for and transport our special needs children in our Orangevale center.

Job duties include but are not limited to: Direct patient care such as oral feedings, diaper changes, positioning, transfers, and assisting clients in the participation of independent and group activities. This position also requires employees to train as a driver to transport our clients to and from their homes, using the My Friends van.

*Afternoon shift times on weekdays and weekend days needed.

Salary Range: $17-$20 per hour depending upon experience

Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, walk, bend and reach as needed to perform patient care and/or transfer of patient.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other staff, patients and families.
• Clean DMV records.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Caregiving experience preferred.
