We are on the hunt for a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Personal Injury Associate to join our esteemed legal team. This is an incredible opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a diverse caseload of personal injury claims. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law, who thrives in a challenging, rewarding, and growth-oriented work environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Personal Injury Associate, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Handling a wide array of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, product liability, and wrongful death.
2. Conducting client meetings and maintaining a strong client relationship.
3. Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and filing them with the court.
4. Performing legal research and analysis, and developing case strategies.
5. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in mediation or settlement conferences.
6. Representing clients in court during trials and hearings.
7. Collaborating with team members and other professionals to ensure the best outcome for the client.
8. Staying updated with the latest legal developments and changes in personal injury law.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice in the state.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law.
4. Proven track record of handling a high-volume caseload.
5. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
6. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Commitment to maintaining high professional ethical standards.
