Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of personal injury cases, including car accidents and workplace injuries.
- Conduct thorough case investigations to determine the cause of the injury and gather necessary evidence.
- Draft and file all necessary legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other parties involved.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitration hearings.
- Provide legal advice to clients and keep them informed about the status of their case.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in personal injury law and apply this knowledge to your cases.
- Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to develop strategies for complex cases.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the Texas State Bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
- Proven track record of successfully representing clients in personal injury cases.
- Extensive knowledge of personal injury law, particularly in the areas of car accidents and workplace injuries.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable settlements for clients.
- Strong litigation skills with experience in court trials.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain a strong attorney-client relationship.
- Ability to manage a heavy case load and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in legal research and writing.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
