In your role as an Associate Personal Injury Attorney, you will be integral in handling a varied portfolio of personal injury claims. Collaborating closely with fellow attorneys, you will devise litigation strategies, undertake comprehensive legal research, and spearhead case management teams to represent our clients effectively.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and guide pre-litigation cases from their initiation through to resolution.
- Perform thorough legal research and analysis to counsel clients on their claims' viability.
- Prepare, scrutinize, and edit legal documents, including but not limited to, demand letters and settlement agreements.
- Maintain open and effective communication with clients, adversaries, and insurance entities.
- Negotiate settlements to ensure our clients' interests are optimally represented and secured.
- Participate in developing and refining internal processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and support junior staff members in legal procedures and client management techniques.
- Stay abreast of legal trends and updates in personal injury law to provide informed advice and representation.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing authorized to practice law within the state of Texas.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law, specifically representing plaintiffs.
- In-depth knowledge and comprehension of state-specific laws, regulations, and legal practices related to personal injury.
- Advanced research and analytical capabilities, including the adept interpretation and application of legal precedents, statutes, and regulations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of efficiently drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Demonstrated success in case management and client advocacy, with a consistent record of securing favorable outcomes.
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive legal research, preparing detailed legal briefs, and offering cogent legal advice to clients.
- Strong team player with the ability to seamlessly integrate and collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and fellow attorneys.
- Excellent organizational and meticulous attention to detail, equipped to handle numerous cases and meet tight deadlines concurrently.
- Proven discretion and integrity in managing confidential and sensitive information.
This position is fully remote, although the firm retains the flexibility to transition to an in-office or hybrid work setting as needed. Currently, there are no intentions to shift to office-based work for this role, but the option remains open. The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $100,000 annually.
