On Call Counsel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Injury Attorney to join its client's dynamic team; a top law firm in Brooklyn, NY!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case management, including drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct thorough investigations and gather relevant information, including medical records, police reports, and witness statements.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates, gather information, and answer questions.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, depositions, and court appearances.
- Prepare trial exhibits, assist with trial preparation, and attend trials as needed.
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of documents to courts and other parties.
Qualifications:
- Paralegal experience in personal injury law.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and client-focused approach.
