Position Overview:
- Prepare and organize applications, related documents (MVRs, inspections), and handle remarketing for new/renewal accounts.
- Provide rating and quoting of coverages/policies as needed.
- Process endorsements and cancellations through communication with insureds, companies, mortgagees, and lienholders.
- Handle client inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Maintain accurate account information for assigned book of business.
- Receive loss information from clients and transmit it to insurance companies.
- Solicit expiration dates and additional coverage from existing clients.
- Review and check renewal expiration lists.
- Stay informed on current rate manuals and new coverages/products.
- Maintain direct communication with company underwriters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management due to changing business needs.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a strong understanding of industry practices and terminology.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience using Applied/Epic (Agency Management Software) and CSR24 (Certificate Processing Software) is a plus.
- Current Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
