Talis Group’s client is a well-established, Independent Insurance Agency. They are looking to hire an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager, who excels at providing customer service, to join their team in Louisville. This position will be responsible for managing & servicing individual clients’ personal insurance policies, such as home & auto, and to ensure that clients have the appropriate coverage. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of personal insurance products and a dedication to providing tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of their clients. Salary range is $50-60k plus full benefits package! The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30-5.
Highlighted Duties:
- Work directly with producers and insurance company representatives to market new and renewal accounts.
- Prepare proposals to illustrate coverage being proposed to clients.
- Secure changes on existing policies and secure underwriting information as required by insurance companies.
- Work directly with clients to answer incoming calls/questions on coverage and billings, provide quotes, facilitate changes in existing coverage, obtain underwriting information and assist in the claims process.
- Issue certificates of insurance, evidence of property insurance, auto insurance ID cards and insurance binders to evidence coverages.
- Online quoting for new/renewal policies and/or changes for existing policies.
Highlighted Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience handling Personal Lines Accounts is required.
- Must hold a P&C license in Kentucky.
- Strong knowledge of personal insurance products and coverage options.
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in AMS 360/Vertafore software is preferred (not required.)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret Personal Lines insurance policies.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle a busy environment, while being detailed oriented.
- Possess excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong work ethic and customer service skills.
