Position Overview: At FBinsure, we are committed to tailoring insurance to the individual needs of our valued clients. As a Personal Lines Sales Executive, you are more than an insurance agent to our clients. You are an advocate, insurance educator and adept communicator. A Personal Lines Sales Executive’s responsibilities include providing that tailored approach for opportunities that call or walk into our offices, seeking out new business, and rounding and upselling existing accounts. Using your expertise, you will educate and advise personal clients on the right coverage options for their specific needs. Your role will have you working with clients and alongside carrier partners to analyze policies and exposures, understand client needs, and design insurance programs according to FBinsure guidelines. Insurance, while critical, can also be a maze. It’s our mission to ensure our clients are well-advised and know their specific needs and concerns have been addressed. It will be your responsibility to work with clients to ensure they are getting the best coverages and value for their needs, recommend actionable solutions.
Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, hybrid position reporting to our office located at 128 Dean Street, Taunton, MA.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Develop leads and prospects through marketing efforts, centers of influence, and referral opportunities.
- Identify, educate, and assist insureds regarding exposures, coverages, and exclusions.
- Prequalify insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk.
- Create insurance proposals and make sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new business.
- Refer clients to other departments for products in commercial lines and financial services.
- Complete and submit applications and related documentation to appropriate insurance markets.
- Consult with prospects on proper insurance coverages and if a group account, advise of program benefits.
- Handle all non-Producer generated new business sales in a timely and accurate manner.
- Educate clients concerning agency payment expectations and cancellation procedures.
- Prepare and deliver binders to insureds.
- Maintain Epic Agency Management system files accurately in accordance with agency guidelines
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a business development/sales function
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry
- Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty insurance license
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or similar preferred
- Work from home/hybrid option is available if sales goals are maintained
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
- A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
