My name is Melissa Charlton and I have the privilege of spending my days teaching movement, strength and follow-through to amazing women who are tired of not feeling their best, and tired of gyms that don't consider our needs. We are growing our business, and looking for new team members to keep up with our expanding clientele!
We need Lead Trainers to create programming, Personal Trainers to execute programming, and team members willing to share their knowledge with their coworkers and learn how to run a fitness business.
Responsibilities:
- Train Private Sessions: New clients are taught stability and mobility techniques, to help them overcome pain and get ready for bigger lifts. During these sessions, you will also teach the basic lifts (squat, deadlift and press) using barbells and kettlebells. You will also be teaching members to use resistance bands and suspension trainers, to help them understand how to do homework or to prepare them for the optional small group sessions outlined below.
- Train Small Group Sessions: Once a new client understands the basics of lifting (12-week program), they are qualified to work in a group setting, if that is their desire. These sessions are still programmed individually, and you will be responsible for leading, motivating and monitoring them for safety and healthy movements.

If you specialize in nutrition, power, agility, mobility, goal-setting or something else that sets you apart, we want to highlight you and share your expertise with our clientele. They get your knowledge, and you get the reputation of a fitness leader in our community.
- Design and maintain client programs: If you're not there yet, our senior staff will take this on. As you get more facile in program design, you get to flex your creativity and take ownership of your clients' journeys, leading them to new heights of physical strength and abilities.
- Business and sales training: We are big on mentorship and development. Joining the MBodied Strength team means you will get hands-on learning of business systems, marketing, sales and all that is required to successfully run a fitness business. We're looking for future managers and leaders in the industry.
Required Skills:
- Personality and Etiquette: You must be inspiring and professional at all times (in person and on the phone), and have an innate desire to help people.
- Integrity and Coachability: People are trusting us with their bodies and goals, it is vital that you are trustworthy. You also need to be able to listen to feedback and be hungry for growth, both as a trainer and as an employee.
- Punctuality: You must be on time. Always.
Bonus Skills:

- Certified NASM Personal Trainer
- Nutrition, Movement Correction, Kettlebell or TRX Specialist
- Office Admin Experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
COVID-19 considerations:
Staff and members must be vaccinated. Staff must wear a mask while working with people who have a compromised immune system. Surfaces cleaned after every session.

- Seattle, WA 98144: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
