Personal Training Sales Representative - PT Solutions Physical Therapy

The Personal Trainer Sales Representative is to build a client base that contributes to departmental revenues by maintaining an existing client base, marketing programs and services, focus on fitness product support, and utilizing the highest quality of customer service.

Essential Functions

• Maintain a personal commitment to meeting the needs of clients.
• Demonstrate correct use of all weight and cardiovascular equipment.
• Conduct client interviews and counsel clients on exercise recommendations based on fitness evaluations as well as members’ needs and goals.
• Assist in development and implementation of practice programs and events.
• Participate in all staff related meetings and other required activities.
• Behave as a role model by leading and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times when working with clients.
• Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
• Dress professionally, according to the current dress code standards.
• Perform a customer service role by assisting clients in monitoring their exercise programs, encouraging members to reach their fitness and wellness goals, and handling member concerns and complaints quickly and effectively.
• Actively market and promote personal training to acquire new clients and retain existing clients.
• Encourage clients to take advantage of other services and programs offered by the practice.
• Recommend changes for programming and services in line with current market trends.
• Represent PT Solutions at marketing and promotional events such as health fairs and community races
• Identifying and pursuing new prospects part of the Break Thru new patient funnel
• Executing retention cascade
• Timely follow-ups for old/cancelled members and training clients.
• Membership/training package renewal campaigns
• Proactive engagement
• Promotions/Fitness events posted in advance and removed in a timely manner
• Ensuring trainer bios and pictures are up to date and continuous with current team
• Maintaining supply of trainer business cards
• Execution of Before/After pictures of our clients

Required Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to market personal training and obtain clients.
• Good organizational skills and an ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Highly professional in appearance, tone and delivery and an effective communicator.
• Strong customer service skills, customer service driven, positive attitude.
• The ability to work independently and in a group setting, high integrity, reasoned

Required Credentials

• Must have a minimum of two years of education in the field of exercise science or a related field and at least two years experience in a similar position; or a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a combination of education and experience
• Nationally recognized personal training certification from NSCA or ACSM preferred. Other certifying bodies will be considered.
• Must have current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
• Two or more years of experience in a customer/public relations position or a sales role

Hours and Wage

• M-F - Flexible hours
• $20/hr plus commission
