McDonald Pest Control is seeking a dedicated Pest Control and Lawn Care Technician to join our team in Largo, FL. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package with a guaranteed minimum base pay of $30,000 annually, as long as you meet your workload requirements. Our pay structure is commission-based, where you can earn 15-20% on all production, depending on experience. Additionally, there's the potential to earn more through upselling, with some technicians earning between $30,000 and $50,000 annually. Our pay system operates on a draw system, ensuring you receive weekly guaranteed pay, with the opportunity to significantly increase your income based on your work ethic and performance. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Pest Control and Lawn Care Technician, you will begin your day at our central location, equipping yourself with necessary tools, products, and a company vehicle. Your responsibilities include spraying lawns, inspecting properties for insect activity, providing pest control treatments, and advising customers on proper prevention techniques.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Valid Florida driver's license with a good driving record
- 1+ years of experience in the pest and lawn care/spraying industry
- Physical ability to pull hoses, load materials, climb, bend, stand, read, and write
- Physical ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
We would prefer someone with additional experience beyond the required year in the industry.
SCHEDULE
In this position, you will report to a central location each morning before heading to various job sites within Pinellas County. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional on-call duties.
