Pharma Sales Manager, CDMO Services - Piper Companies

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Pharma Sales Manager, CDMO Services to work for a global company in biopharma industry offering R&D and manufacturing support.

This position will be remote based, but expected travel to client sites/tradeshows. Ideal candidate will be East Coast based.

Responsibilities include:

• Propel new client acquisition and saturate business with current clients.
• Meet regional sales goals and expand the biologics drug development and manufacturing services business in North America.
• Promote internal partnerships across teams, coordinating with SMEs for each account.
• Handle the sales cycle independently, including proposals and contract negotiations.
• Represent company at industry events and support strategic initiatives within the Global BD team.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or PhD preferred.
• 10+ years (Bachelor’s) or 7+ years (Master’s/PhD) of experience in life sciences, with 5+ years in CDMO sales and territory management for biologics.
• Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics.
• Established CDMO network

Compensation for the Director of Business Development

• Pay Rate: $175,000-$225,000
• Remote Based - travel for sales and tradeshows
• Comprehensive benefit package
