Clinical Solutions Pharmacy was founded in Tennessee in 2004, and it is the only 100% female owned and founded closed-door pharmacy in the United States serving the correctional population. Clinical Solutions corporate office ships out 200,000 plus prescriptions a week to over 400 facilities across 25 states. Clinical Solutions Pharmacy in Wichita opened in Fall 2023 and ships out 15,000 plus prescriptions a day for Kansas facilities.
The Pharmacist in Charge will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and management of the pharmacy staff. This role will assist in the daily activities of the pharmacy, including the development, oversight, and monitoring of services, in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the Pharmacist in Charge. As we expand the business in Wichita, a willingness to become licensed in surrounding states is a plus.

- Supervision of the pharmacy technicians and ancillary staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Pharmacy Hours: Monday through Friday 10am to 6pm.

Qualifications:
- Excellent computer skills.
- 2 to 3 years of management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent computer skills and Excel spreadsheet knowledge.
- Proficient in pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools.
- Ability to manage a team of Pharmacy Technicians and Ancillary Staff.
- Self-directed but also able to work well in a group setting.
- Valid Pharmacist licensure in Kansas that is in good standing.
- Obtain a work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with departments, managers, and the leadership team at CSP corporate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prefer a minimum of 3 years' experience in a long-term care or high-volume closed-door setting.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening process.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the Pharmacy Technician CPhT Team.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
- Review and verify all pharmacy orders filled by the Pharmacy Technicians.
- Monitor and manage the prescription verification and quality assurance process.
- Perform prescription verification duties as a dispensing pharmacy to deliver superior patient care and customer service.
- Communicate effectively and maintain positive client relationships, including answering and responding to any pharmacist related calls or emails.
- Review all electronic prescription orders that are in the system. Make recommendations to the Pharmacy Technicians to resolve any errors or potential problems.
- Other special projects and duties assigned by Manager.
