Job Description:
The Pharmacist is responsible for the continuation of pharmacy management goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy. The pharmacist provides routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers. Management skills and accuracy are required to ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet/exceed site budgets. Leverage operating policies, procedures and process to ensure operational excellence.
• Optimize cost management in line with script counts. In coordination with the General Manager, serve as primary owner for Band III accounts, and facility owner for Band I and II accounts in assigned geography.
• Drive organic growth and mitigate risk with existing customer relationships. Negotiate and finalize customer contracts in collaboration with appropriate regional leadership. Collaborate with Sales to drive deal closures and organic growth.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Consultant Pharmacists and appropriate corporate functions to meet overall site goals and objectives.
• Evaluate the overall results of operations; regularly and systematically report the results to the GM and/or VPO.
• Ensure that all organization activities and operations are executed in compliance with state and/or federal regulations and laws governing financial and pharmacy operations
• Responsible for providing employees with timely, candid and constructive feedback; developing employees to their full potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
Schedule- Shifts needed: M-F 9-5, M-F 5-9, and Sa-Su 10-3
Pay - The anticipated wage for this position is between $ $82 and $
00Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
What do we need from you?
• Current license to practice pharmacy in good standing – State of Rhode Island
• Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledgeable about long term care regulations (OBRA, OSHA, state laws and other federal laws) that have an impact upon both pharmacy and Center operations preferred
• 3-5 years or more post-graduate experience in pharmacy operation, clinical oversight, and patient care.
• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy

Pay Details: $82.00 to $84.00 per hour
